# Tons of detailing equipment/product - Flex 3401, PC 7424XP, pads, soaps, sealants

I plan on selling most of this on the detailing Facebook group I am on, but I figured I’d give it a shot local first. I will explain the condition of the items below with each photo. If you have any questions, let me know!

I’m not in the market for a any of this but the orange lines on the products to show what’s left is a nice touch. I didn’t notice it at first.

Nice! Is it worth the price difference compared to a porter cable, if so how?

Sure, it’s like driving a Civic or a GTR. The PC has an 8mm throw and a relatively small motor. It is loud and not that well balanced, but it is a great option for the weekend detailer, since it can still correct paint safely and relatively quickly. The Rupes has a 21mm throw, and a much more powerful motor. Combined, it corrects extremely fast, while still being safe, and leaving an amazing finish. You can often get away with a 1-step polish with a Rupes where you would need a 2-step from another DA. It’s also more balanced and significantly quieter than the PC.
With that said, the 21mm throw makes it difficult to use in tight spaces and very curved panels, so a smaller 3" polisher is needed on most jobs, where a PC could probably be used the entire vehicle.
