If the top gear USA ever get’s underway it’s going to suck ass. The biggest reason I watch that UK show is due to their unmolested ability to say whatever they damn please about the cars. Doesn’t matter if it’s bashing a major company or not. Sponsorships and funding companies would never allow that to happen here in the USA without dumbing down the show to the point where it’s scripted and boring. It’s why Jay Leno turned down a major offer to host a USA version of this show… ---

It’s why Jay Leno turned down a major offer to host a USA version of this show… it started filming about a month ago. at least. it will be out in the new year, and my guess, is it will be about as good as the aussie version. which means, something to tide u over while the real top gear is in the off season. ---

i believe nbc did say something switching around who’s the weekly sponsor’s are and to not make them the same people as the car they are testing that week. Adam corolla has made it public saying he is not going to be holding back or scripting any of his reviews. i’m interested to see how things go with that but at the same time i can’t see it working to well we will deff see tho ---
