Gotta say I’m enjoying the Viper vs. Helicopter film a lot more than when TG did it with the Lotus many years back. ---

My only real gripe so far: the episode is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz. A sponsorship like that almost guarantees they will hold back from bashing cars they test. Unbiased reviews FTMFL. ---

The voices do still feel a little odd I’ll admit. But hey, I’m entertained so far. They will become better tv personalities that’s for sure. THEN it will get good. Learning curve. ---

I like they’re insulting my intelligence… All the things they showed in the intro were already done by BBCs top gear and this cobra skit is cheesy and too scripted. I thought it would be really interesting if they actually had the cobra chase them along public roads, but no, off course they’re only chased through the closed warehouse district and closed off cemetery. and obviously the helicopter doesn’t need to be only 10ft away from them to get lock on. I don’t know why they keep showing the helicopter try that. ---

it seems way to scripted so far, like i said i’ll give them a chance, hopefully the hosts get less nervous, and possibly like with uk and aussie version, host will change. ---

It’s a SHOW after all. Just like original TG may have their train vs skyline races real, they sill have to go back and tape the material of where the cars go by certain streets. Perfect example is SUV vs bicycle vs boat. ---

I was just about to complain about the production value so far, but they obviously improved for the third section. I expect that from American production. Hollywood writers and editors. For the record, this was the ATG reel from back in the day. ---

Same here but I don’t like what I see so far. Strike 1 of 3. Too much time spent on the Viper chase BS, Foust seems to be using the show to drift everywhere and promote his drifting, and comparing 3 Lambos to see which one is faster/better? It seems like there are two Clarksons and one Hammond in the US version, I like the odd mesh of personalities on the UK version. I’m ready to punch the TV when I see Fousts face lol. ---
