# tore into my motor today

well we pulled the motor out of the car today. power washed it and the bay. now heres the fun parts lol. we first pulled the covers off. i noticed the heads are very clean. now supposly my car has 130k on the speedo. so then we get to the heads off. looked at the walls. they look fresh, not marks, not lip nothing. still has fresh hash marks. also noticed no gasket was ford. also noticed it had a double roller timing chain.[dont know if ford is stock like that or not] well we pulled out the stock cam and installed my new one. put new chain on and now waiting for heads got get back from shop. after that its time to put it together fully.

ohwell figure i would share my new found findings

also noticed stock heads had has marks on them they may of been shaved some. thinking this could be a low mileage 306 here

now as for power? i have no clue what ill make

yea i guess so. how did i know it was freshend up…shortly no longer stock
