hmm… not 100% surprised. racing in Ontario just isn’t as popular as anywhere else… take Quebec as the example. it really blows for the grassroots stuff, and the pros that aren’t quite “pro” yet that are in Ontario. I hope Mosport is in good enough hands to keep the Ontario stuff alive. if not bring it up to another level. I wish Calabogie was closer to the GTA… ---

why is this upsetting? no one is going to buy it and tear it down and build something else on the land… there are 1,000,000 plots of land that size throughout Ontario that are bare and dont require repurposing and would therefore be endlessly cheaper to develop for non-racing purposes. the add clearly positions the venue as a racing venue with no other purpose mentioned. Clearly they are looking for people who can develop the property with its existing facilities BETTER than the existing owner / manager. ---

i would really hate to see tmp go out of buisness. interesting history on the current owner and how his investors are pulling out. hopefully someone will buy the buisness and be a little more open minded to renting the facility to amateur drifters. ---
