I had heard about the 5.0 before the purchase, and it was tempting to wait. But I have a feeling the car will cost more, it will be in high demand so no one will deal on it, insurance may be even more, and maybe no tax deduction. This is my daily driver we’re talking about here. I had to be practical with my decision. 🤣 That was a good one! ---

I always felt bad for the first-year C5Z or (new era) GTO buyers who saw GM throw a significant bump in HP out at basically the same price the next year. And it sounds like the 5.0L is getting a six speed (finally), so better MPG, so better DD. 😉 -TJ ---
