Ah, at least you considered it. I always felt bad for the first-year C5Z or (new era) GTO buyers who saw GM throw a significant bump in HP out at basically the same price the next year.

And it sounds like the 5.0L is getting a six speed (finally), so better MPG, so better DD. 😉
