# Tranny Jack

Any suggestions for where to get a tranny jack? I know Taylor Rental has them. Auto Zone doesn’t list them in their rental tools.

Or do I just chance it with my two floor jacks? :scared:

Anyone ever try one of those adapters for your floor jack?

rent one,trans falls KILLS ur little ass!!!if u cant get one ,i’ll see if my buddy will let use it for a day or two!

i use an adpater they work ok … it sure beats using a 2 x 12 resting on the top of the jack…on my monte i slid the tranny under and took my engine lift and some chain slid in in near the firewall and hooked it to the tranny lifted it up in the front with the hoist and a jack in the rear… it was easy to push it around i got it in in under and hour

get a vw… be like me and just let it fall to the floor… or, just pick it up out of the car

Or get a honda lift motor and tranny out with 2 people.
