# trans help?

i know nothin about gms, i have a 95 sunfire auto. the trans is shot. does anyone know if a 98 sunfire auto trans will work in it?

If they are both the 2.2L (2200) then they should work, 95-02. Make sure they are both 3 spd or 4 spd auto.

2002 introduced the 2.2L Ecotec, that will not fit.
