I have a '95 S14 with manual tranny with worn out synchro. I purchased a '92 manual tranny to replace it because I heard they are the same? What is involved here? Do I need extra parts? I read something about the tranny brace is different? Thanks.

The transmissions are almost the same, however there is an extra sensor on the top of s14 trannys that will throw a CEL if not plugged in.

Also the speedo sensors are different.
