So I have been looking for an old car for a while and this one just kinda fell into my lap. It needs work but a lot is already done. The guy i got it from has a bunch of projects and his health took a turn so he is getting rid of stuff…
The good… strong 350/350 trans, 85 caprice frame, interior is apart was redone a few years ago n grey tweed… lokar shifter , new painless wire kit, needs finished but in the car… i am getting a shit ton of extra parts he has laying around…
the bad… the body was skim coated like 20 years ago and is starting to crack… he busted out some of the body filler to see how much metal was there so that all needs fixed but the body is solid…
I was supposed to pick it up this weekend but he ended up back in the hospital… so hopefully this week or next weekend
plans. Get AIR RIDE… big wheels… put it together and drag it down the road throwing sparks…

he had it marked out but is not finishing it… the car does have a lot of head room but thta is way beyond my skills… i might channel it another inch or two so when its laying frame it looks even lower…not sure yet

well i have been working 80 hours a week so time with the car has been very limited…but i got a ton of parts. new floors are ready to weld in … the body is almost to bare metal… all of the stainless aand chrome has been polished thanks to the wife, wheels came in yesterday… fedex jacked one up so it went back today,  
the day i got it running ok

That’s a car too have your grandkids enjoy when you retire and the kids say hey that’s my grandpas at a carshow . definitely worth the work / time / money on it in 30 years 🙂
Unless you are sterile then the adpoted kids want it too make money on 🙂 🤣
