# Tried Plasti-Dip for the first time

its thick enough so that it wont chip but at the same time if you want to take it off all you have to do is cut it then it will peel right off.

Joe, it is like rubberized undercoating…a protective coating that won’t pull off your paint if you need to remove it. It’s good stuff.

I wonder what the temp rating is on that stuff. I would think something that soft would not hold up to brake temps. The powder coat on my rims is wrecked from my brakes on my SHO.

Finally got around to taking a pic with the new badge on the car… took the star off and replaced it with an AMG badge.

looks real good, im going with black on everything on my amg over the winter as well. how was installing that hood badge? i looked into a few of them, just havent made any moves yet
