Once due to a head gasket or something related going bad, the combustion cambers were taking on lots of coolant. To the best of our knowledge, the 22R was just pumping the coolant back out of the engine lol. I always wanted to get one of the turbo 22R motors out of the later trucks, build it up, toss it into a old celica. If you wanna go NA there is a old 22R header here at my house that you can have.

thanks for the info, If I go n/a I would like to get that header, would be nice to have. I dunno though, I am still worried about how much boost would be to much and how much fuel I would need. Also, I would need to find a 5spd tranny and all the parts, do the trannys from celicas work? what year?
