motor can handle 38psi. Track runs are only at 16. ---

hey the man himself in the video said the 2JZ is unreliable at 1300hp, where as this 427 LSX is reliable at twice that power… LSX FTW ---

2JZ made 2041hp. ( There are tons of 11-1300whp cars on Supraforums. Yea, very unreliable. You’re talking about a 3.0L I6. Remember that. 2JZ \> LSX everyday/allday. ---

Pretty sure the block in that supra is not a block that came/comes in any factory car. Almost positive he is referring to this: [http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/EngineShowcase/index.jsp?engId=LSX&engine=LSX&sku=19166454&engCat=ls](http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/EngineShowcase/index.jsp?engId=LSX&engine=LSX&sku=19166454&engCat=ls) I would hope a block designed specifically to hold monstrous amounts of power would actually hold it. While the supra motor is a performance motor, I highly doubt its designers had 1300+ hp in mind. ---

If so, how long before it needs a engine break down or it breaks?? This Supra owner is claiming to have over 50 passes on this LSX. Thats reliable. ---

dont blame him for switching, the 2jz is a great motor, but with such a huge increase in displacement, it does make it easier to be reliable and consistant. ---
