Lamin-X films offers clear and colored films to protect highly impacted, easily damaged areas. These films are suitable on paint, headlights, taillights, fog lights, and many other surfaces. Lamin-X offers: - Pre-packaged, precut kits - Bulk rolls of all films for custom direct installation. Available in many lengths and widths. _ **Automotive Paint Protection** _ Lamin-X Protective Films current Automotive Paint Protection products are made from VentureShield Films, which is an indestructive eight-mil thick (.008") clear Urethane film. The VentureShield film is designed to protect your automobile's fragile surface. Film is optically clear and guaranteed for life against yellowing or cracking due to UV exposure. The protection remains invisible, allowing the manufacturer's aesthetics to shine through unaffected for years and years. _ **Surface Protection** _ Protect your vehicles abused surfaces from debris and daily wear and tear with Lamin-X Clear protective films. Here are a few selections of available clear films and their normal application use. **8 mil** Thin, but strong protection for lightly abused surfaces. Very pliable for application to large surfaces with compound curves. Adhesive backed for easy & very forgiving application to any surface. Great heat dissipation properties for those high heat/intensity lighting. **12 mil** Great thing protection for highly abused paint surfaces such as race or tracked vehicles. Very pliable. Adhesive backed for easy and very forgiving application to any surface. Excellent protection for flat and normal temperature lenses. _Also available in matte surface finish for industrial and furniture applications._ **20 mil** Strong, perfectly invisible protection for lights and lenses. Very flexible and pliable for very rounded/curved light applications. Adhesive backed for easy & very forgiving application to any surface. Great heat dissipation properties. _Also available in matte surface finish for industrial and furniture applications._ **40 mil** The thickest and strongest film yet. 1/16" thick! Perfectly clear, invisible protection for lights and lenses. Designed for flat surfaces that require a high level of protection. Adhesive backed for easy and very forgiving application to any surface. Excellent protection for flat and lower temperature lenses. Lamin-X also offers a line of colored transparent films. These films are all 17 mil Heavy Duty quality. Use these films to give more character and provide excellent lens protection. They do not affect optical clarity. There will be no difference in beam pattern when applied.
