I would say they are pointless and if going with new rings should stick with OEM.

overKILL you would just loose life from your bottom end and get little noticable return of power

if you dont wanna go over 10lbs dont even bother if your on a budget. but if you want new pistons 9:1 is good for what you want. slap them in there with some eagle rods and your set. 😃
