This is almost as dumb as trying to swap a SHO motor into a Camaro.

My none smartass answer is don’t they make compressor maps for this sort of thing? I mean people turbo big blocks with similar CID as 2 x LS7s and idk why would pick an LS7 for a boost platform with the thin cylinder walls

LS7 was a example for large displacement. It would be LS based but not a LS7

I am sure somebody makes a compressor map for large compressors but i’ll don’t know where to find one. I am also having a hell of a time finding used stuff to match the desired power and boost levels. Pretty much everything I come across runs boost levels… let me put it this way the flanges have 6-12 bolts holding them on rather than a simple V band. Or they are a odd axial design or weigh hundreds of pounds. One of the articles I was reading warned of poor quality rebuilds on large units, and recommends a proper scatter shield. The turbine blades punctured the housing and took a chunk out of the concrete floor. I am finding rebuilds in the 6k-8500 range. There has got to be a junk yard for things like this.

I would suggest calling a turbo company instead of posting on the internet, but I don’t want to be responsible for wasting one second of another person’s time with this piece of shit idea that will just turn out as shitty as all your other shitty “projects”.

I worked in a scam hole shop building high performance diesel engines for Semi Trucks and boats. I would suggest looking at CATERPILLAR C18 engines for a compound setup or the 3406 C engine series for more info. Those turbos are fairly massive.

Here are some junkyards locally you can look into.

Casey’s Truck Salvage on Transit in Depew.

Bison Truck parts on Walden in the city.

I know you want to do a single but maybe consider using larger and medium in a compounding fashion to all for routing exhaust in a similar fashion.

This isn’t super complicated people make 2000-2500hp with turbo big block setups.

Go here buy a whole setup turn key [http://www.prolineracing.net/](http://www.prolineracing.net/)

Cut him some slack… I really want to see the SHOmaro finished up so I can have a good internet chuckle to myself.
