This failure was caused by the failure of the sun gear bearing which sent metal in to the extremely tight tolerance of the planet gears and then cascaded into a big problem over a few thousand miles. the RWD swap will not be a in a taurus chassie . camaro? wouldnt a mustang be a more appropriate swap? 🙂 Brian ---

this just in: tranny # 6 was found dead at 10:32pm. A note was found nearby, in which the tranny describes the horrible pressure it was feeling to perform, and its feelings of inadequacy. It committed suicide by knocking the turbo SHO off its jackstands. It was instantly crushed. just playin 🙂 ---

After that is ready i could be running in a month or two. the camaro is the best choice. I check a bunch of different options and this is by far the easiest/most cost effective platforn + if the whole thing goes to hell I could have a LS1 dropped in it in a day. ---

I got to drive it tonight. I just kicked around some side streets but damn I miss my turbo car. I forgot how much power that car has compared to my stock 5 speed SHO. edit: corrected my poor grammar ---
