if you’re having problem… i’d just disable your network card (disconnects from internet) and print out your forms and just mail them (might help if you’re having computer speed problems.) ---

They’re saying my wireless router is confusing their security in verifying my IP. I’ve been messaging one of their service techs for over an hour!!! I can’t believe that anyone with wireless can’t use Intuit’s software!!! ---

i don’t know what to do about taxes yet. I lived in CT for 1 month in 2004 so i am not sure if i need to file seperatly, or just lie. ugh ---

Read up though, there may be a loop-hole and lieing is just plain bad! big brother is watching :scared: ---

The only thing that is affected with a move is local wage taxes (that 1-3 % you pay to your boro and school. IE Penn hills we pay .5% to school and 1.25% to Penn hills every quarter) ---

HR Block free file for federal. then print out that info and go to your states website and file for free on there. or at least you can do that in MD. ---

That doesn’t make sense that the router is messing things up with the DSL company… If you have the router on the stock configuration, it will act simply as an information relay, only it gives out its own IP addresses. But if it refuses to work, and you are willing to mess with the router, set it up as a NAT. Most wireless routers, especially new ones, have this ability. All this will do is make the router act as an access point, rather than routing its own IP addresses all around the place. As an access point, it doesn’t mess with anythign coming in or going out. No switching of info packets, no nothing… That should definitely work if you can’t figure anythign else out… but it really doesnt make sense that it doesnt wanna work as you have it… ---

believe me… if you set it up as a NAT it will work fine… already had problems similar to what he is having… at the time, i didnt know enough about W-routers, but once i did a little learning, i fixed it all and made it work… its not the easiest thing to do for a rookie or the average person… however, i do agree, that if all you need to do this for is one or two things, it’ll be much easier to just get rid of the router for now… i mean, are you really walking all over your house w/ ur laptop doing ur taxes? ---

turbotax suxors - just get a number crunching wife like me and never worry about taxes again. 🙂 My wife likes doing all that tax/money/credit stuff and I can’t stand it. We already sent ours in and am getting $4000 back. Woohoo, now I get to pay off the $1200 dinner table I just bought and to finish my basement. ☹ ---
