i know what you mean lol, going from my stock seats to just rsx seats (not even racing seats) i feel trapped with all the restraints. you get used to it tho and they’re actually SO much more comfortable once you get a good feel for them

dave ill let ya know in person how much the seats were…dont know if im supposed to spread the price around. they were a lot less than the 1600 for seats/belts/brackets that most other places advertised them for.
got a _decent_ amount done this weekend. got the driver side tub mostly in. it is mostly welded in place. caulked it on the outside. still have some trim work to finish up on. but i got sick of working on it and started working on other shit. i have about 1-2hrs left on that side to get it where i want it. the other side should be much faster now that i know what and what what not to do. i CAN’T WAIT until this is done.
tore out all the stock stereo harness. a LOT of wire was removed. got kinda messy up front where it combined with other harnesses, but we managed to fish it all out. there were a couple wires that went to the computer and steering wheel that i dont want to mess with, but i removed about 98% of the harness plus the stock amp which is nice. no need to keep shit in there im not using.
cleaned up the rearend a little bit more and removed the pinion. didn’t really feel like hosing all the insides out and getting wet and dirty, especially in this weather.
went to sandblast the suspension and the sandblaster gave me issues AGAIN, and it was really late so i didnt want to be fussing with it.
hopefully i can sneak in there this week and work on finishing the DS tub and start on the other side. if i could finish the tubs by next weekend, that would be awesome. once the cage is in, the rest of the car is going to roll pretty quick. cant wait to get the new carpet/seats/cage/harness/stereo all in. it’s going to be a completely new car inside.

i like them. I had a set on my SHO and they bubbled though. Make sure u smooth them out real well and don’t leave the car in the heat to bake. The vinal can distort easy. I hope yours hold their shape better than mine did.
