I am probably going to end up buying either a 50 or 55 inch Sony SXRD TV. I was just wondering if anyone on here has one and what you think of it. Thanks

I believe Mike has one 87foxgt, i think he likes it alot. Sony is not my bag so i cant help u on this one.

Yes sir. I have the 60 inch SXRD and I love it. Fucking awesome TV. I believe they have come down in price quite a bit since ive bought mine too. Tony I would def recommend this tv :tup: Awesome picture quality and will do full 1080p. Also has 2 HDMI inputs :tup:

I own a 50in sony sxrd, and i still swear its one of the best pictures ive ever watched. :tup: definately buy it, you wont be disapointed.

What is the viewing angle like? I was going to buy an SXRD or a DLP but the viewing angle on most of them sucked. So I went LCD. Plus the LCD has a much smaller foot print.

only the current model can actually accept a 1080p input, the older model upscales 1080i to 1080p, while the picture differance is negligable when doing this, its still something to know

I just went to Best Buy and picked up the 50 inch SXRD. The regular retail price is $2400 but the Best Buy at Galleria had it for $1799. And they gave me free shipping… delivered 2 hours after I bought it
