# TW: 02 s2000 -Suzuka Blue

First off this is going to be one of those open forsale adds, meaning if it sells, great if not, no low balls and I keep it.
Deatils:
I am the 3rd owner it was an impulse buy when i sold my bike, I got it from a guy in his early 50’s who used it as a cruiser. Car has never seen winter ever and it super clean. Who i bought it from said it had bottom end work done at 40k under a recall, I didnt ask him for a recipt, but at 96k there was a new motor put in from a L.I Honda dealer (have recipt- apparently the oil pump was defective and he had a connection so he got the motor replaced- didnt really car since I had a recipt and the car was clean.) Currently the car has 110k on the body and about 14k on motor.
Car was lower on Koni yellow full suspension, cross/slotted rotors & pads, and whiteline steering sway arm. I took the car off the road 3 weeks ago as it was getting cold and got it ready for winter with a full detail in and out, oil change with oem honda filter and covered.
NEVER MODED!!! just driven
specs and comes with:
-suzuka blue
-blue leather interion which is mint, no creases and is always details
exhaust off 07+ (for oval tip look)
-almost 110k on body, 14k on motor (I believe its even warenteed for the new motor… never checked though)
-9k redline
-front color matched lip
-tinted through out (even black rear glass)
-full koni yellow suspension (lowered, but can still be dropped more… I think its super low as is now)
-whiteline steering sway bar in front
-cross/slotted rotors & pad
-4 sets of keys and fobs
-oem cd changer and cage in trunk
-oen car cover
-oem tauno cover for when the top is down
-oem honda filter
Bad:
-rag top showing some wear at inner clasp there it locks down the top, no leaks.
PRICE:
open to offers, if your looking for one you know what they go for. Ill try and had a def in a day or so.

I’ve really been wanting one of these lately, they do not go for over $10k w/ that kind of mileage so it’s tough to say what a lowball is, some people would say $8k is a fair offer considering the economy and time of year.
I would think $8-9k would be a good asking price, so with that said.

Sorry but that would be a give away to be honest. It might be ‘a see it in person’ thing to see what its worth. Mint body and newer motor would most likely get more. Im not advertising the car heavy so ill guess we;ll see what it goes for when it goes.

considering guys are asking (that’s asking, not selling for) under $10k for AP1’s with 90-100k, then yes 11-12 would be a great if you only wanted it for sale not sold.
Consider that rugsr put his up for sale w/ 25k for $12k in the spring and it DIDN’T sell.
Not a lot of people even have $9k laying around or can get a loan, or want to spend that much on something to just instantly throw it in the garage.
This looks like a awesome car, and the coilovers and newer engine definitely help, but it is a terrible time to sell an s2000 between the economy and fact that it is late october. If you advertise big you could probably get a decent buck from someone down south, but not a lot of people want to fly(under $10k there is no paper work) or drive with close to $10k in cash. So then do you take a check from a guy from out of state. Checks are easy to forge, even bank checks can have a stop payment put on them, yes a certified bank check can have a stop payment put on it. So the bank says it’s good and then it doesn’t clear, that’s fun.

I believe new… the receipt for the head alone show it cost about $1500-2000 (im at work and dont have the paperwork

To me, the term “new motor” automatically means the car was probably beat on pretty hard.
