I’m sorry, but this is the epitome of stupid. Its a fucking 6000lb [PLUS] truck that very likely still cant turn or stop to save YOUR life. If you want to go fast in a truck, do it in an SRT8 or a TBSS. You know, something of remotely manageable size and weight? Whats next, a 2000 horsepower H1 or a 5000 horsepower tractor trailer? Give me a break. Maybe I just don’t get it… but it seems like an awful waste of effort. To each their own I guess… but not mine. I wouldn’t feel safe SELLING that to the general public knowing that some moron is probably going to try and do 150 in that brick, lose it, and take out a bus full of nuns or something… ---

Kind of a silly comparison, but w/e. Put enough horsepower in anything and it will go fast. The GT-R does a mid-11 sec 1/4 mile at best I think. So that SUV is hauling ass. ---

They just used a stock GTR as a baseline to show how fast their TT kit can make an Escalade. Cool. ---

wow…a whole lot of twisted up panties in this thread. finalgts, i think you missed the part where the brakes are upgraded on that escalade so it probably can “stop” pretty well. i think suv’s are oversized minivans, but im a fan of fast trucks. nothing wrong with doing something different and doing what you want to do. :tup: ---

They could have easily detuned the GTR to make the race favorable for the escalade. Or just short shifted the hell out of it. I would think a 11sec escalade would not be on street tire to not spin from a stop like that. They did brake torque the escalade and not the GTR and it did get a jump… ---
