# Ukraine (flipped licence plates)

There is now a new way to express their disagreement with road police has been spotted in Ukraine. When a driver doesn’t agree with some speeding tickets or other penalties from the road police he turns his plates up-side-down to show his disregard for police. Actually in Ukraine it has not been clearly stated in the traffic laws how the car plate should be mounted, so they cannot be penalized for this.

im still stumped by the fact that we NEED a front plate. i mean, think about it. cop is following you, right? you look suspicious and he reports you and gets the info back. now think again, were you just doing that F&F backwards driving 80mph on a highway or just normal driving when a cop is BEHIND u 99.99999% of the time running your plate? Thought so. If your car is parked, it doesnt matter where the plate it, they can just get out to look at it. While driving though, theyre behind ya. plus, it looks stupid with the plate there and ruins the aerodynamics of the car, but mostly it looks silly.

Totally agree, I hate front plates, dumbest regulation ever.
