# upstate races you'd like to see

joe, as your sort-of friend (dont know ya too well), i think it would be best if you chill out with the street racing and stupid shit like that for a little bit. i havent gone more than 10mph over the limit since that shitty day, and dont plan on doing it for a loooooong time. it might be a little more tempting for you since you have a fast(er) car, but im going to be leaving it to the track from now on.
i got extremely lucky with my lawyer situation, a family friend who is the club president at the golf course i work at (indirectly, my boss, in a way) will be representing me for no charge, i offered to pay him and told him it wasn’t a big deal, he deserves the money, i dont, and ill have no problem getting the money together, ive got 2 jobs and a few hundred bucks of performance parts on my car, he said absolutely not, ill be taking care of you.
point is, im not bragging about it that ive got connections and shit and i think it’d be best for you if you do the same, theres no reason to be an asshole to any member on here, we’re the ones being charged with misdemeanors, not them.
and dave, im pretty much un-grounded at this point, so if you want to meet up i can get the radar to you whenever you’d like.

sounds good, $190 for the radar, case, all instructions and the broken wire (took it apart, there’s 2 little wires that became disconnected inside the little unit that goes into the cig. lighter, they can easily be soldered back on, but i dont have the know-how to do it)
