Dropping that ka-nowledge on your ass… I think SOPA passing would bring a crippling halt to torrent sites. Demonoid was I believe in Brazil at one point and then moved to another country after there long shutdown and before Deimos stepped down as owner. PirateBay was Sweden I believe, but they were taken down BY Sweden IIRC. I’m sure USA would have liked to have a piece of that. ---

Again, there was more to the megaupload thing than just having some albums hosted on their site. (See previous page posts by Onyx). Also, I saw the article about [CBS.com](http://CBS.com) and [UniversalMusic.com](http://UniversalMusic.com). Shortly after it was posted I checked on both sites, and both were up and running and fully functional. So any damages that were done were very minimal and fixed rather quickly. Not that impressive. ---
