I think JayS was the most practical. Get it pumped out, cut it up with a sawzall into manageable pieces, take it to scrap yard. Or take it out on your boat and throw the pieces in the lake. ---

Fry when my dad removed his he just drained it and then popped a hole in the bottom. Let it drip into a coffee can for a day or two then took a sawzall to it. Ours was the size of a small car… ---

I’d be leary of trying to throw it away. There must have been a regime change at the highway department within the last year or two. When I moved in you could put anything at the curb and they’d take it away. Now you have to have brush tied into bundles less than 4’ long, anything outside of the tote has to be in a clear bag with a pretty pink bow, yadda yadda yadda. I’m going to do some measuring and then get stupid trying to wrestle the thing out of the house in one piece so I can give it away whole. ---
