i’m startin to get why ppl like dubs. i’m thinkin i mite have to buy one… but then i peep teh prices. i could get a decent used luxury car for that cash. any suggestions? thoughts? comments?..discuss

if you’re looking for a VW and dont mind buying used, throw down for a MkIII Jetta or GTI with a VR6…you’ll probably drop between 8 and 11 grand for it…the only expensive part is the maintenance… 😃 when they tell you your coolant is 21.70 a liter, for example…but they ARE fun to drive…

yeah, just figure out what you want it for… big or small, are you going to play with it or stock, little miles or drive it a lot… are you going to let the woman drive it or not? things like that… i know a decent vw won’t be had for under 20k… but then again the base model vw is superior to most…

just wait till the end of the month, VW dealers will deal then
i got my car 2002 VW GLI with 42k on it with a warranty till 74k for 16k out the door
TMV is like 20k on that car… you can definitely get a nice VW for a good price if you just look and then know when and how to deal.
right now i bet you i could find you a loaded 1.8T for like 14k

there’s some good deals on them right now. for some reason most of them are selling for way less than the blue book.

maybe bc they’re overpriced to begin with. damn german labor costs kill those things. i read once that with out the insanely high costs of german labor VW could sell those things for less than honda’s :sex:

it will be a daily driver. i’m not touchin the internals or takin in to the track or anything like that. i’m not qualified enough to even speak about such things. i like the golfs, but that’s like miller high life… an aquired taste that some ppl we never get. a4s are an option, maybe an older s4… i’m not makin any moves till spring of next year though. but i don’t want to wait till spring to start deciding what i want either ya know?
