Granted it’s an ex-race V6 that does mid-400s RWHP. 😉 In the prepared class the advantage to the V6 is that the engine position is defined by the bellhousing mating surface, not the front of the motor, so the weight is further back. Stock V6s aren’t really any lighter than LS1s, but this motor is. Anyway, the 4th Gen can be made to handle very well, I autoxed mine a LOT and can give you a lot of tips if you go for it.
