# Very loose and bouncy tranny

90 CA18DET in my 180 and the tranny is very bumpy and moves around alot. i know its not the shifter but the tranny as a whole. i have a very stiff and low suspension but is there a way i can tighten it up??? like a solid tranny mount??? any thoughts??

You can buy poly engine/tranny/ and differential mounts that will make your drive train feel nice n crisp. But then you should do a majority of the subframe bushings too.
I definitely wouldn’t do a solid mount on a tranny. Maybe on the differential if you also had solid mounts on the rear crossmember.

Ya find a poly tranny mount that would help, poly engine mounts would help too, but might make things a little rough. I think energy susepnsion makes a tranny mount for a S13.
