rb’s are very tempermental (my experience is with rb26 motors) my first one blew a hole in the piston, the second one tossed a rod bearing, and the third one just plain exploded. the only way to make those motors reliable is the spend about 6k building the motor and then you might luck out and it will run good for a yr or two. just my 0.02 farmer ---

i always thought the rb26 was the ballers motor, that or an ls1 ---

I have never tuned an RB26 based vehicle that was on it’s first motor. Ever customer I have ever had with an RB26 has been on their 2nd or 3rd (or more) motor. They ain’t all that. ---

hm, I never knew the 26 was so fragile on a budget build / lack of serious tuneage. does the same apply to the 25? or is this just because the rb26 internals don’t handle the power well? ---

I like where this is going. I’ve witnessed two Z32s in the family over heat though, that AMS rad though looks like the remedy. ---
