# Vibration

Wife’s 05 GTP is vibrating/pulsating around 15 mph then pretty much goes away at around 25-30 mph. Tire imbalance? Wheel bearing? The snow tires were always a little loud but it’s gotten worse. Would you hear a tire problem at all speeds though?
Rather figure it out before going to the dealer since it would probably cost $50 to diagnose and balance a tire!

i bet she does alot of driving arouund 15 mph haha
it could be a number of little things could even be a bad tire!!
jack the wheel up that you think is bad and one hand on top and one on bottom of tire move it towards you and away if there is a considerable amount of play it could be wheel bearingf or ball joint you will be able to tell if its a ball joint you can see then move…and the same left to right…you can tell if a tie rod is bad or an item in teh suspension…i bet its something with the tire considering how new it is? check for wheel weights…wheel weights can sometimes be trown off and not be noticed…caugh caugh silver…

Probably a weight. Tire Rack uses the stick ons. Had to get one replaced when the tires showed up because it was already off.

dude, Its an 05. Im guessing its still way under factory warrenty. Go to the dealer, there not going to charge you for something like that. Well at least my dealership wouldent. Thats what you pay for a warrenty for.

If they have to balance a tire they probably will. But yeah it’s the easiest way. If it’s not the tire then it’s already at the dealer.

we have a tire machine can chek it out if it need balanced can do that and can ckeck if cupped
did she hit a curb or a big pot hole?? may of broke a band inside the tire…

Go to the dealer and bitch. They will replace your tires. Trust me. An out of balace tire is not going to cause a bad vibration at 15mph. Dont waste your time getting tires balacend

tire & wheels are not the factory ones,anyhow why go to a deasler,work on the car urself!!(famas quote)
