i would have liked to have been at the boardroom table when someone suggested playing the behind the scenes director comments… and then someone else says… ‘why don’t we script the director comments so that they support the entertainment’. and then someone says… “why are we NOT asking Akon, Katy Perry and Maroon5 to play in the middle of the show? Afterall, they ARE playing the AMA’s 2 weeks before and the Grammy’s 2 weeks later” bear in mind all of these people around the table are 22 year old girls fresh off a marketing degree paid for by their parents who are probably politicians… then the third ditz says… “are we going to have a real crowd or can we plant people in the audience and script their facial expressions?” back to the first chick: “what do we want to fall from the roof in this fashion show? foil balloons in different shapes and colours? Confetti? inflatable animals? is there any reason not to do all of it?” Then a manager pipes up: “would people notice if we put commercial breaks in the middle of this commercial?” all airheads are stumped… (!) above thier heads. ---
