# video ipod question

Ok so i was at target and i saw this dock station for ipod that has a 7 inch screen for videos. Thing is, it’s $300!!! So i was standing there and i saw the portable dvd players, and thought hey they have the audio/video inputs. So the question is couldn’t i just buy a $100 portable dvd player and the cable to connect my ipod and wouldn’t that work? I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t. I think it’s $300 just because it says made for ipod, and people don’t think about the portable, unless you can’t do it that way.

yes you can, there might be some loss difference or something though.
