Well, from some of the attitudes it’s easy to see why such PITA laws are neeed. If everyone was reasoanble and took their neighbors into account, it’d be one thing. But there are lots of self centered people and some who actually enjoy annoying others. ---

Regardless of where it is in your driveway, what condition you think it’s in, the bottom line is the law does not allow it to be there unregistered. And you’re not allowed to operate a car repair business anywhere that isn’t zoned commerical. Maybe yours is a case of a bad neighbor, or maybe as Fry suggested from your classifieds activity you’ve simply taken advantage of your neighbors willingness to overlook an occasional unregistered vehicle too many times. While unforunate that some PITA neighbors will take laws like this and abuse them to report a guy with a restoration project that he moves out to his driveway for a few days to use the garage for something else, it’s still good to have them. If you didn’t there would be nothing you could do about the inconsiderate asshole who has 4 half assembled shit boxes littering his driveway.
