bullshit fucking car. Typical american style to toss in a car with R-comp tires and full race track aero just so they could take the prize. IMO this should be competing with cars like the Zonda R and not production spec vehicles. ---

My buddy was looking at getting one in 2010, but he ended up not getting it because it doesnt have any power options, no ac etc. Its a direct race car. Its no different then the mustang cobra jet. ---

Wait, the ACR-X is not being produced or sold so its not a production car. Take it off that list. Even if it was, it got beat by: 7:11.57 Gumpert Apollo Sport 6:55 Radical SR8 if you drop it down to the non-production, non-street going car it would be beat by these: 6:47.50 Pagani Zonda R 6:58.16 Ferrari 599XX So what record does it hold? ---

So either way, it doesn’t hold a record? I curious what tires they had on it. Looking at the list it looks like Chevy started off the whole R-comp thing with the ZR1 and now Porsche and dodge are reciprocating. LFA was done on legit street tires though. ---

Viper ACR is less 1/4 the price of an LFA nurburgring edition. R-comps or not this is extremly impressive. Im sure if the LFA gets some new tires it will shave 4-7 seconds but the fact that a 100k car can run with a 450k car is badass ---
