This is for a buddy of mine. Hes up in the air between the 2 and we were curious to see who likes what more, just for shits. Obviously performance, looks, reliability, style are all factors. What do you like better and why? Has he driven either/both? There are a lot of retarded viper haters on here, so be ready for the “they’re not exotics” bullshit arguments that are about to happen. Without having ever driven either, I’d go viper. :gotme: No good reason. Less common? Drop top? Panty drop? ---

Ya. Im one of those people. I hate vipers, for no good reason other than they are dodge. And I dont think they are exotic because ive seen alot of them this year. Exotic and rare are 2 diff things, but whatever. Currently he owns a 2005 c6. Black, 6spd. Very nice car. Im more of a vette fan myself. But he won’t make a decision until a million people agree with him. ---

personally i’d rather have a viper if someone was driving a viper down your street you would say “omg siqq viper dudebro!” if someone was driving a corvette down your street i would say “meh” ---

I say Vette only because I’m not a fan of convertibles. Maybe hardtop would be ok. If you eliminate the convertible option then I’d say Viper, just because they seem more rare, much like what Fry’s saying above. ---

so far people are answering based on the car as a status symbol, the viper wins that all day long. if it’s going to get tracked, I’d take the vette every day… but on the street just being an ass, I’d take the viper. ---

That and so few track day instructors will even ride in a convertible. ---

Viper is definitely more rare. Unless he has thought about a ZR1, I’d say the Viper I dunno what it is about ZR1’s but I absolutely love their sound, and even looks for a Corvette… they just stand out. ---

Vette. I don’t buy a car because there are a million, or zero, of them on the road. That seems to be the main argument against it. Who gives a shit? I buy cars for me. If anything I don’t like owning a super rare, different looking car because then cops remember you, and people know who you are. If some old broad calls in that a Viper was doing xxx, every cop in a 10 mile radius is going to know it was you. ---

meh that looks like a 4x4, still has ugly ass dodge front end… i havent seen many tastefully modded vipers appearance wise, most appear to be owned by a guy like my dad, on a mid life crisis kick that then watched a F&F marathon… ---
