In a search to find a new torrent application rather than bitlord, i stumbled across Azureus, which is now called Vuse.
It seems like a lot of flashy pointless shit has been packed into it, but there are some pretty cool features…

the most noteworthy feature is the ability to create a user name and a buddy list. Anyone on your list can access any of the files/torrents you have in your download folder (that you’ve made accessible) and make you a direct seed for it. It seems like a pretty cool way to set up a little fileshare network with a bunch of friends.

anyone else use this? thoughts?

i hate all the extras, but it works just the same as it always has 🙂 I like it since I can download and stop my uploads.

What is up with Share Ratio anyways? I download from open sites. Anyone have insight as to why I should care about my ratio?
