# VW owners with spare parts....

Any one of you guys have a 1.8T or compatible flywheel or auto torque converter that can measure the OD of the starter ring gear for me quick? Rough dimension within 1/16" is just fine.

adam btw you can always try the guys over at [517trans.com](http://517trans.com) they might have a spare torque converter or parts laying around. They are the ones who did the upgrades on the s4 tranny,valve body and torque converter for me. Owners name is sam who is a very chill dude.

thanks for the responses guys. Bret got the dimension I needed. I was just looking up some ring gear specs for a small project here at the shop. trying to find a ring gear/flex plate as close to 10" diam as possible, with a matching starter motor. Have a few other options.
