# Want to borrow VW wheel lug key

I need a wheel lug key that my Jetta was regretfully delivered to me without. It is the 11 point key. Check your trunks and glove boxes. Just need to borrow it until I can get to the stealership to order a new one. Well, not even that long. Thanks for any help.

I think they made 11 or 12 different keys.

I have a few of them but I never counted the points. Could you grab a pic of the lug nut?

I’m heading to my shop in an hour or so and will compare it to my tools.

They made 12. I found a 13 point at my uncles house last night. They look like a torx female on the lug side and the key is the male end. Just with nearly twice as many points. They are evenly spaced. So I guess it almost looks like a triple square would work… But not. txt me and I will try to send ya a cell pic. Thank you BTW

Nemer hooked me up. They brought my car in the shop and removed the security bolts and put in standard lugs free of charge. Didn’t pay for part or labor. I had to ask the man behind the service desk three times “so, I don’t have to pay???” I am very satisfied with my experience at Nemer VW of Latham’s Service Department. I will be going back for future dealer necessities.
