Actually…okay… I’m going to say this and RISK DERAILING THIS AMAZING THREAD. Today I woke up late on purpose. So I guess I wasn’t late, but lets pretend I was. Well I really was late to my orgo dos (that’s two in Kuvarian, btw), but my professor said it was ok because she’ll be sitting in a room all alone after everybody that’s on time takes it, anyway. So I saunter in, take it. Fun. Wow. So we’re talking. About me transfering and then I was leafing through the new book and I found a little blurb on artifical sweeteners. It said that the suggested daily value of some sweetener should not exceed “200mg or a half pound a day.” ha! A half pound of artifical sweetener! Somebody screwed up the conversion. What threw me off was, “this is about the amount found in 2 gallons of diet soft drink.” I was just thinking…you’d essentially have a snow globe. I’m under the impression that a half pound of artifical sweetner is a lot. No? It’s kind of light and fluffy. Anyway. I go to walk out and SCOOP I see my advisor. Back on April 7th (i’m looking at the letter) it says something to the tune of “We would like to send your application to the processing committee, but we are missing your college reference.” That would be written by my advisor. The asshat didn’t send it. So the professor whom I was just discussing a half pound of artifuckingficial sweetenerwith was the one that pretended to be my “advisor.” I like to pretend a lot. Anyway. I go psssst it’s him. She goes who. I go my “advisor” and she goes, “Lets go tell him that you got in!” so she did. And i said “Thanks a bunch for writing that letter for me!” His eyes shifted. His face went pale. We said bye and went adios. ha. haaaaa. ---
