so is Beck cooler than newman now or no? what do we base cool on here? takng a couple days off to buy a rolex and then getting it appraised like this seems pretty Sheen to me. but Newman has been pretty Sheen for a long ass time… ---

I think we rather need to discuss the fact that you are now using “Sheen” as an adjective. Buying cool shit never made anyone Sheen. Being awesome isn’t about spending money. ---

it’s easy to spend money on boring shit and to plan it out and be all deliberate about it. being impulsive and awesome in ways that lead to winning that just happen to involve the spending of money is a whole other story… so Sheen I wouldnt be surprised if Beck over paid by a few grand intentionally as good will toward future watch buys. ---

My whole persona is the exact opposite of this thread. I rarely pay extra for things that are not quantifiably better in some way. The subtleties of an expensive watch do not, to me, justify the increase in price. It’s infrequent that I couch up any cash to achieve “baller status” ---
