It was nuts. ---

Ro Gro got a 1 race ban and re-opened the issue about cockpit safety. At this rate F1 might not be a open cockpit machine anymore longer. ---

LOL that GIF is great. Super unfortunate for both Alonso and Hamilton, but that’s racing I guess. > [@Missed my court date....now what?](https://forums.speedlife.net/t/missed-my-court-date-now-what/50671/28): > > Ro Gro got a 1 race ban and re-opened the issue about cockpit safety. At this rate F1 might not be a open cockpit machine anymore longer. They say it is inevitable something will be done, but according to Mclarens Tech Director crash bars in front of the cockpit are the likely alternative. He cited concerns of smoky cockpits and drivers becoming trapped as reasons why the bars look to be preferred over closed cockpits. Unfortunate because I feel like jet fighter type cockpits would look pretty bad ass lol.
