LOL that GIF is great. Super unfortunate for both Alonso and Hamilton, but that’s racing I guess.

They say it is inevitable something will be done, but according to Mclarens Tech Director crash bars in front of the cockpit are the likely alternative. He cited concerns of smoky cockpits and drivers becoming trapped as reasons why the bars look to be preferred over closed cockpits.
