Sony released a whole bunch of defective ones. Surprising, none ended up on Sony laptops though :snky:
I’ve been playing with li-ion and li-poly batteries for a while now in RC planes and stuff, and these things are no joke. When they short internally they literally explode, and they burn REAL hot. So yeah, you have a little napam bomb sitting on your nuts if your laptop is in your lap.

Makes me wonder if I’m really all that safe when I use my old compaq laptop and it’s 12 year old Li-ion batteries. :o
