well, my sisters car needs a new water pump, she told me a shop quoted her around a grand for just work, kinda sounds like BS to me. its a 96 galant sohc 4 cylinder. Anyone that works at dodge, mitsu, or anything like that dealer might know how many hours that job is quoted?

$1,000 are u shittin me? what kind of car is it?. Im a mechanic and ive changed waterpumps in cadillacs for less than half that price. Caddi’s are no easy task to work on, everythings in the tightest most unaccessable places. I def agree thats BS.

try maroneys they charged my friends. 400 for timing belt and waterpump that was a year and a half ago
