went to gore today, hungover as fuck, left when i felt like i had something die in my stomach, might of been the amazing burgers from last night…i try to avoid jiminy like the plaque…whiteface has $35 sunday number 2 on jan. 2nd. that’s my next day i’ll be riding. ---

I doubt they’ll get that much. 12-18MAX according to [weather.com](http://weather.com). I wouldn’t want to pay $65 to wait in line to ski 1100 vertical. Holiday rates ftl, might as well get your money’s worth and go to a halfway decent mountain. ---

They checked tickets on thursday when I went. What is wrong with Jiminy? I’ve been there twice and have no problems? Speaking of my last trip. F snowboarding. That crap gives my shin splints fits. I switched to ski’s half way through and didn’t feel a single bit of pain again and I could actually get down the mountain without cringing in pain. I am now a skier. Towards that end I started to carve a bit, so gonna work some more on that. I’ll be zoomin down mountain in no time. I was able to get down the mountain with relative ease after about an hour of skiing. I wasn’t able to get down the mountain on a board after 2 full boarding trips and another 3 hrs on thursday. Don’t know why, but carving on a board puts WAY too much strain on my shins. An another note. All that gear I bought? Best $280 I ever spent. I was only sore after, but had zero bruises or other pain and I did fall some. ---

I, in my beginner stages of skiing, made it down the trail that goes straight from the main lift in probably 10 or so minutes. Lots of braking and 2 stops for rest lol.
