actually believe it or not I’ve never had an issue skiing Killington really early season coverage wise, its usually really well covered with no bare spots. It’s not like late season when huge holes in the snow start popping up. But I think I’m gonna try to go downhilling since I have the entire winter to ski and only one more weekend to get my gravity fix on the bike. ---

I wouldn’t hold me to that statement after all the rain today but I’ve been skiing there in october before and the trails open felt like mid winter. ---

I wonder if it’s really raining up there. On their website it says 34 degrees and rain, but that they’re also open? ---

[Weather.com](http://Weather.com) says they’ve had 2 tenths of an inch of snowfall in the last 24 hours, but also nearly 2 tenths of an inch of rain as well. :lol ---

Wow. Just stumbled upon a gold mine in my own basement. I found a Thule #725 ski carrier, SKS lock cores, and the mounting brackets for factory/aftermarket crossbars. All brand new in their boxes, with original packaging and instructions/receipts. WTF? :lol Either my parents are playing mind games with me, or they never threw away the carrier we bought for our trailblazer from Plaines over 7 years ago that was used ONCE. Either way, I’m happy because I just test-fitted it to my Yakima round bars and it fits. I even found the key in our kitchen drawer. :rofl ---

I pieced mine together on Amazon. If you’re going to get one, that’d definitely be the best way to go, especially if you’re not looking to spend a fortune. I wonder what else I can use from the shelf of fame :rofl ---
