Was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for a web host? I don’t need anything dedicated, nor do I need a ton of space. I just need a host that is cheap, fast, and has PHP, SQL, and other good features integrated. I was thinking of going with a big player like 1&1 or mediatemple, but does anyone have a better suggestion? A Canadian company would be great, but I haven’t found a really good one with competitive prices/features… ---

Everyone tells me to go to [Dreamhost.com](http://Dreamhost.com) I’m looking for a cheap host as well. I wanna be able to transfer 5Gbs or so a month. I got a guy on my MSNGR who is friends with Hosterservice owner, when he comes online i’ll ask him for a price. ---

Not sure if anything could beat [this insane $2.99/month deal](http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/MsHostingBeginner;jsessionid=B61744E698119620A708E13AA2C8B2F9.TC61b? __frame=_top&__ lf=Static)… however it doesn’t include SQL. You can only get SQL with their $9.99 package. Mediatemple has a nice package too, [check it out here](http://www.mediatemple.net/services/webhosting/ss/linux-standard/). Both of those packages allow for 20+ gb transfer/month, so you’re covered there. ---
