I am getting married april 9th 2011, we are having trouble finding a location just for the ceremony. Any ideas?It has to hold about 200+, we have called numerous places and all only held about 70 people and if they hold more you have to have the reception there.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ---

have u tried fire halls, your local italian clubs-posts-lions clubs? catering halls. not sure what area your looking at for it to be held ---

the girl and i want somewhere nice , looked at some historical places, have tried calling a billon times , looking for somewhere nice, most catering halls only do ceremony and reception… called a few winerys and most hold 70ish… ---

Just go to McDonalds and order the Big McSteak. Same thing as getting married, but much less expensive. ---

Beaver Island has a nice place; hold a decent amount as well from what I remember. ---

200+ people just for the ceremony other than a church is tough…Most outdoor places will accommodate 100 max…unless you go somewhere big like a park or beach or something like that…are you sure 200 people are going to show for the ceremony. Thats alot…most people flake out on the ceremony and attend the reception ---

It’s pretty much a church or something not nice. Are you both atheist or something?
